Gunnel Wåhlstrand at Prins Eugens Waldemarsudde, Stockholm, Sweden: Solo-exhibition

26 October 2024 - 16 March 2025
Since her debut in the early 2000s, artist Gunnel Wåhlstrand (b. 1974) has worked with the meticulous and time-intensive technique of ink wash. In large-scale format and with remarkable precision, she depicts motifs from family photo albums and from her own photography of nature on the west coast of Sweden. The clarity of detail, the quality of light and the reflections in the greyscale works are captivating.

The upcoming exhibition is the most comprehensive presentation of her work since 2017 and will include early work as well as some of her most recent production.
